2010 Calendar is here!
To
all perspective 2010 full race members:
Sydney Thundercats are getting back to basics for the 2010 race season,
there will be paid staff for the positions of RD, Scorekeeping and Gear
Maintenance inc towing to and from event location to maintain
professionalism and consistency in each event.
Each
event will follow the same basic structure and be posted two weeks prior
to race day on the home page.
We
will no longer be driving boats on to any beach
inc Boat Harbour for a Surf X event.
Scrutineering and Race Poles along with your assigned beach set-up task
will be completed at the boat ramp shortly followed by a gear/fuel
shuttle trailer which will shuttle to and from the event location. All
teams will then leave via water from the assigned boat ramp together
with their boats set up and ready for the first race and to help with
the beach set up “many hands make light work”.
This
structure dates back to the early days of Thundercat Racing and helps
with the operation and enjoyment of each event BY ALL.
